You ask 2 questions and I'll answer them in order:

1. How it would be Europe playing together with tha Synphony Orchestra?
ANSWER: I think it would be awesome! Could you imagine songs like "Aphasia" or "Tomorrow" played with a 64-piece orchestra backing it up?! It would sound unbelieveable!

2. What it would means for Europe carrer...
I don't think it would do them much good. Of course the fans would be EXTREMELY happy to have this, (hell, after 10+ years, we'll have ANYTHING!) but my opinion is that if EUROPE did this, they would be criticised for "doing what has been done before", and compared to Metallica & Kiss and some of the other bands that have done this.
What EUROPE would have to do to succeed with this idea, would be to change the formula... for example - they could play with a 30-piece Arabian band behind them. Imagine "Girl from Lebanon" with a strong Middle Eastern feel? they could do something LIKE the symphony, but instead of doing what has gone before them, they'd need a fresh idea.

Any comments anyone?

Let Europe be a Europe and VSSO and MSSO play other musicians songs. They did it with enough until now.

I think that could be a good idea for starting to let speak again about Europe after all this years, but I think exactly like Dimi, they need to do something original for catch the attention of the people. The idea of Dimi to play for exemple, "Girl From Lebanon" using a 30-piece Arabian band behind them, it's so amzing!

Not a very good idea, it´s been done by enough bands already, first Metallica with S/M, Scorpions, Yngwie Malmsteen etc. and Kiss being the latest band to do it with the Melbourne symphony orchestra.

HI Jimmy, in my opinion, the fact that many importants band like that you have cited have do it, it only demonstrates that this is a good way for make promotion... And in my opinion it is time that Europe starting to be confronted with these groups and demonstrating to all that Europe are not less than these groups... indeed! This could be an important event that could make people speaking again about Europe after all these year! And if an event like this will be transmitted live from some important TV Station (for example MTV), I think we'll have found a great way to starting to promote Europe around all the world, and then can you imagine how cool will be recorded on a cd and DVD?

P.S.: ELRO, here in Italy (I think in March) will begin the "Sanremo's Festival". That is a festival for the italian songs, but in each night there are also 1 or 2 International guests. That festival is seen live on tv from about 6-7.000.000 of italian people and in the last day of this festival the peoples that watch it in tv can be also more than 10.000.000. Europe was already guests here in 1987.

Hello everyone! I know that the London Symphony Orchestra have recorded TFC, but I haven't actually heard them play toguether...quite an experience, ha?

WELL, IT WOULD NOT BE LIKE THE OTHER BANDS, EUROPE AND TEMPEST HAD A DIFFERENT SOUND, THE WAY TEMPEST SINGS FOR EXAMPLE CARRIE O COAST TO COAST ARE EXCELLENT FOR PLAY THEM WITH VIOLINS AT THE BACK.

FOR ME IT WOULD BE FANTASTIC !
